Since my last news there have not been too many days fished by our boats but there were other boats out so we can get a pretty clear picture of how the fishing was over the past fortnight. The wind has continued to blow from the right direction but the sea was very rough just leading up to Christmas with a rather confused sea, the waves coming from all different directions. (more…)

9th to 14th Dec 2008 – Plenty fish – but no fishermen !

Since the last news item was published the fishing has got steadily better, the marlin wind appears well set in and the marlin and sailies are plentiful. From now until Christmas there are very few bookings so if you can get away and feel like taking advantage of some great fishing drop us a line. (more…)

Fishing report 4th Dec to 8th Dec 2008

Kamara II returned from a successful fishing trip to Malindi catching lots of sailfish. The striped marlin are starting to make an appearance in the Pemba Channel and both boats have been catching. Kamara II sailed north up to Malindi, a journey close to 100 nautical miles (approx. 185km) to meet Victor Loppies and John Vlak from the Netherlands. (more…)
