We are delighted to inform all our clients that at long last our two brand new ferries have arrived and will soon be in serviceThese two brand new ferries, built in Germany arrived in Mombasa yesterday.
They are 70 metres long and can carry 60 cars each, so that we anticipate a greatly improved service and an end to the long queues and frequent delays due to breakdowns of the old ferries.
You should now be able to cross the Likoni channel with minimal delays, which were the cause of so many people not wanting to visit the South Coast, as tourists, delayed at the ferry had to swelter in the hot sun, sometimes for hours, perhaps missing their flights as a result.
We now look forward to a much swifter service, leading to more development on the South Coast and more fishermen coming to Shimoni.
