Breaking News!!!

Yesterday, Saturday 12th February Tim Kane from the UK fishing with Pat on Broadbill hooked in to a huge 600-lb blue marlin. The marlin rose to a black and green Sea Searcher run on the centre rigger, came in really keen and seemed to want it but never broke the rubber band. Finally it dropped back and took the blue and white sea star on the outrigger on 50-lb line hooked up and went absolutely ballistic. Tim fought it for 2.5 hours before finally bringing it to the boat to be released.

It was Tim’s first day out marlin fishing, his first marlin and his only day this trip. When its your day, its your day! Pat and Usama both said that the marlin was at least 600-lb, a huge fish a great effort by all concerned.
